What We Do

Transforming workforce development by integrating digital solutions into training and real-world work environments

Merging real and virtual worlds to create instructions for operations and maintenance procedures

At Life Cycle Engineering, we use a variety of applications that are deployed on headset and handheld computing platforms to deliver real-time, on-the-job task execution and workplace training. LCE helps its customers design, create, and deploy spatially anchored, step-by-step instructions for their operations and maintenance procedures with embedded pictures, audio, video recordings, PDF technical documents, and digital twins/3-D models.

LCE’s electronic work instructions boost efficiency to ensure knowledge transfer and compliance

We assist organizations in quickly developing and deploying electronic work instructions to address skill shortages and improve documentation. Our solutions include remote coaching for timely support, which enhances workforce development.

Implementing EWI reduces errors, minimizes rework, and improves training effectiveness, allowing technicians to quickly master new skills and boost productivity. Our dedicated specialists provide support for administration, on-site training, asset data preparation, and deployment planning, ensuring program sustainability throughout the process.

Pairing SEA Coach® expertise with mixed reality to enhance workforce development of sailors and technicians

Many workers skilled in shipboard maintenance and repair are retiring, leaving a skills gap when new workers come aboard without the same level of experience. To combat this risk, LCE combined the advantages of augmented reality with the knowledge and expertise of our SEA Coaches.

The result allows sailors and technicians to follow step-by-step procedures overlaid upon equipment or its digital equivalent. This solution allows sailors to build their capabilities through virtual on-the-job assistance, job preparation, and two-way live interactions with SMEs.
