What We Do
Delivering ship maintenance, modernization, and training to regional maintenance centers and shipyards
Improving planning and engineering to maximize fleet efficiencies
Strategically located in key U.S. Navy fleet concentration areas, Life Cycle Engineering experts support fleet maintenance and readiness in USN public shipyards, regional maintenance facilities and commercial shipyards.
These experienced and highly trained SMEs perform in the areas of shipboard mechanical systems, electrical systems, structural maintenance and inspection, combat systems maintenance and testing, in-service engineering, material ordering, project management, planning and estimating, scheduling, work packaging, tech assists, and work test and control.

Executing planned maintenance availabilities with unparalleled completion rates
LCE has developed unique processes/procedures derived from decades of lessons learned in planning and executing maintenance availabilities for the U.S. Navy.
In that time, we have also earned the confidence and trust of shipbuilders and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) which enables us to bring collaborative solutions to complex engineering problems, deliver all necessary parts/materials, and meet any challenge with confidence.

Developing workers with the skills to perform shipboard maintenance, repairs, and technical support
LCE has a long history of providing top-notch subject matter experts (SMEs) in support of the waterfront. To build on this success and address the needs of the deck plate sailor, LCE has developed the Shipboard Equipment Assessment Coach (SEA Coach®) Program.
Our SEA Coaches are SMEs with extensive experience in ship equipment operation and maintenance. Our involvement increases crew self-sufficiency and operational availability, while reducing crew maintenance time, thereby improving fleet readiness.
