- Bachelor’s in Social Sciences from Colorado State University Global
- Master’s in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from The Chicago School
have been with LCE for three and a half years; I was the Office Manager for the San Diego office and now new to the HR & Recruiting Team. I spent 12 years on active duty in the Navy, serving 2 tours on San Diego based aircraft carriers and 1 recruiting tour at home in Colorado. I have a Master’s Degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology and I am currently working on my MBA with an emphasis in Human Resources.
What do you love about Life Cycle Engineering?
I received a call from LCE about job opportunities in San Diego almost immediately after starting my post-Navy job search. I did a little research and learned that LCE really cares for its employees and prioritizes ethical business practices. Throughout my time at LCE, I have seen that LCE really does practice those principles. I love being a part of the LCE family and am proud to work for an organization that lives up to its values.
What advice do you have for candidates going through the hiring process?
Please do not be afraid to reach out and ask as many questions as you need! The onboarding process can be a bit overwhelming and we don’t expect you to remember EVERYTHING on day 1, so please ask! The LCE team is extremely approachable and helpful and we are all excited you are here!
What do you like to do outside of work?
I love food! I love to cook and try new recipes, and mostly I just love to eat. I love game nights and spending time with friends and family. My husband and I love to take short road trips on the weekends to see friends and family and we are so grateful our adorable and silly dog loves car rides!
What is your favorite travel destination (or dream travel destination)?
I have traveled to many cities throughout the world during my time in the Navy and I LOVE New York City the most! I went there for the first time on my 31st birthday and it was heaven! I love the buzz of the city and the rich history. There are a million things to do and so many iconic places to see. I also really love the strange way you can be surrounded by hundreds of people who are only minding their own business – it is just so peaceful to me.
What would most people be surprised to learn about you?
I am not sure if this is surprising, but I have a strong interest in true-crime podcasts and documentaries. I have been a Dateline junkie for longer than I would like to admit.
